Aspectos negativos: Faltan perchas para la ropa, las toallas (tanto de manos como de ducha), mesillas, luz en la ducha

Aspectos positivos: Amazing hotel, clean, very well located, friendly staff. The food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) is delicious and the drinks are very good as well. Had a complimentary yoga class which was really nice.

Aspectos negativos: The rooms that are on the side of the main street are facing a bar which plays extremely loud music until 11pm, so not really helpful for sleep. The rooftop pool wasnt functioning during our stay.

Cool design hotel on the main strip with great shared facilities.

Aspectos positivos: Beautiful design hotel on the main La Punta strip. We only spent a night there but lovely facilities and staff. Great spot for sunsets on the roof bar and the food in the restaurant was great too.

Aspectos negativos: Rooms are fairly basic with some questionable design choices. The sink is in the main room with no where to put hand towels etc. Quite expensive for what the rooms offer but the rest of the facilities were great.

Aspectos positivos: Really great location, staff was nice and I loved the yoga classes in the morning on the roof!

Aspectos negativos: Rooms are a little bit small which was fine for us but hard to open two luggages at the same time. It can get loud at night which is just because the hotel is in the busiest street but our room was towards the end and we didn’t hear that much so was fine for us.

Aspectos positivos: The staff are wonderful and the hotel is beautifully designed.

Aspectos negativos: It’s important to understand that Puerto Escondido is a party town for millennial hipster content creators. It’s noisy all the time. Therefore, this isn’t a hotel for a quiet and serene holiday. That’s not a fault of the hotel, you just need to understand what you’re signing up for in the immediate vicinity.

The staff are incredibly attentive and genuinely kind — they make you feel seen, cared for, and completely at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms and common areas are spotlessly clean, maintained with such care that you can truly relax and unwind. The overall atmosphere has the best chill vibes — peaceful, stylish, and perfectly balanced between comfort and character. Whether you’re lounging by the pool, enjoying breakfast, or simply soaking in the ambiance, there’s an effortless sense of calm and good energy everywhere.

The best stay in Zicatela

Aspectos positivos: The architecture is minimalist but warm, with every space designed to feel open and connected to the environment. The staff were kind and attentive, making sure we felt at home throughout our stay. From the peaceful rooms to the thoughtful details in every corner, everything contributed to a sense of calm and simplicity.

Perfect staff, uber cool hotel.

Aspectos positivos: Beautifully designed hotel just one block away from the beach at Zicatela. The interior design of the rooms is flawless, the AC works perfectly, the pool is very quiet, it felt like an oasis in Puerto Escondido even though it’s right at the center of all the action. Staff was fantastic, they allowed for a very late checkout, which was perfect for us because we had a late flight out. This gave us an opportunity to dive for the second day straight in the Pacific Ocean, which is not always an obvious thing to do in Mexico because of the currents elsewhere. The reception will send you their local tips via WhatsApp; do not miss getting an ice cream at Passion, dinner at Chicama and breakfast at Malagua, knowing that you have picked the best hotel in the area. Good job!

Aspectos positivos: Beautiful hotel right in the centre of things. Great facilities. Loved the rooftop pool. We didnt eat at the hotel but the food looked good. Very friendly and helpful staff.
